The eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is underway, with fans enjoying thrilling match finishes as well as the off-field activities of their favourite players.
Lahore Qalandars, the defending champions who have been putting in tremendous performances this season, have also been enjoying a fantastic time off the field.
Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi offered a plot to teammate Jalat Khan as a reward for his outstanding performance against Quetta Gladiators.
Sameen Rana, the owner of Lahore Qalandars, stated in a short video that the franchise has given Afridi a plot in Qalandars City in recognition of his match-winning effort.
The 22-year-old fast bowler lifted his hands to request silence from his teammates and said that he wishes to deliver the plot to his teammate, Jalat Khan, who was the match’s 12th man.
After his performance against the Gladiators, Shaheen also received an iPhone 14. The young, furious runner, on the other hand, elected to keep the smartphone.
It is worth noting that the Shaheen Afridi-led side is presently second in the PSL points table after winning two of their three games.
On February 26, the reigning champions will meet the Babar Azam-led Peshawar Zalmi in their fourth encounter at the Gaddafi Stadium.
