Gladiators defeated Karachi Kings by four wickets.

Naseem Shah had a tremendous start.

Tayyab Tahir was bowled out in the fourth over by Aimal Khan.

Aamer Yamin made a brief appearance before striking in his maiden over for Karachi Kings, who were defending 165 runs against Quetta Gladiators.

As Aamer and Mohammad Musa worked together to reduce Gladiators to 2-37 in five overs, Musa also took a wicket. The Gladiators attempted a comeback by scoring 43-2 on the power play.

On Monday, in the 22nd game of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8, Kings’ wicket-keeper batsman Adam Rossington hit the game-winning strike as Kings pushed Gladiators to score 165 runs in 20 overs.

In a game they needed to win, the Gladiators elected to bat first, and Naseem Shah got off to a flying start. On the opening pitch, the right-arm pacer struck out the dangerous Matthew Wade, giving the Quetta Gladiators a fantastic start. Wade walked off a pitched-up delivery for naught.

In the fourth over, the newly reinstated young Aimal Khan took out Tayyab Tahir, badly hurting Kings.

Despite his team losing a few wickets quickly during the powerplay, Rossington kept his composure. He scored 40 runs on the power play.

Tayyab Tahir, who had only seven points after the powerplay, was the victim of another Aimal strike.

In the meantime, Rossington proceeded to score runs. He required 31 balls in the 12th over of the innings to achieve his first fifty. He added 19 more runs to his fifty before falling to Naveen-ul-Haq. He could blast up to ten home runs in one inning.

The captain, Imad Wasim, kept his form and hit 30 runs off 20 balls, including three boundaries and a six. However, bowling all-rounder Aamer Yamin backed him completely.

Aamer scored 23 off 11 balls, including two maximums and a boundary. His quick inning helped the Kings record a manageable total.

For the Gladiators, Naseem and Aimal both took two wickets, while Mohammad Nawaz and Naveen each took one.
