Lahore Qalandars are set to face off against struggling Quetta Gladiators in the 18th match of Pakistan Super League 2023.

Lahore Qalandars are in terrific form right now, having lost only one match in the upcoming PSL 8. Fakhar Zaman has scored 235 runs in 5 matches for Qalandars while maintaining an exceptional strike rate of 172.79. Mirza Baig has scored 133 runs in five matches, while Abdullah Shafique has scored 120 runs at a strike rate of 184.61 in two games.

Shaheen Afridi has been the best wicket-taker in PSL 8 thus far, leading the squad from the front with 10 wickets in 5 matches at a strike rate of 10.8. Furthermore, Shaheen has a 5-for-season record. David Wiese has taken six wickets, while Zaman Khan has taken five. Rashid Khan has failed to play like his old self, with only four wickets in three matches.

Quetta Gladiators, on the other side, have only won one of their five games and are currently on a three-match losing streak. With 151 runs, Martin Guptill leads the way, followed by Iftikhar Ahmed (127 runs). Sarfaraz Ahmed has scored 103 runs, while no other batter has reached the century mark.
