On February 18, Karachi Kings (KAR) will face Quetta Gladiators (QUE) in Match 6 of the ongoing Pakistan Super League Season 8 at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi (Saturday).

Kings came within three runs of chasing down the target of 200 in their first game against Peshawar Zalmi, but fell three runs short and lost by two runs. In their second encounter, they could only manage 173/7 in their allotted overs, which Islamabad United chased down in 18.2 overs.

Quetta Gladiators, on the other hand, made a disastrous start to their PSL season 8 campaign, being bowled out for 110 in 18.5 overs. Multan Sultans won the match by nine wickets after chasing down the score in 13.3 overs.

KAR vs QUE Pitch Report:

Karachi has played both of their home matches this season. They nearly chased down their target of 200 in the first game, but lost in the second as Islamabad United chased down 174 in 18.2 overs.

Based on these two games, it’s evident that the venue’s pitch is a batting paradise. As a result, the captain who wins the toss will try to bat first and put the opponent under pressure by scoring runs.

Potential Best Performers: KAR vs. QUE

Perhaps the best batter

Jason Roy:

On his day, the aggressive English opener has the capacity to rip apart any bowling attack. He struggled in the first game against Multan Sultans and would be hungry to get some runs in against Karachi Kings.

perhaps the best bowler

Mohammed Amir:

In Karachi’s most recent game against Islamabad United, the veteran seamer took up 2/30 in four overs. After a shaky start in the first encounter, Amir appeared to be in terrific form. The left-arm fast bowler will try to build on his recent success against the Quetta Gladiators.
