Jordan Cox and Sam Billings will arrive in Pakistan on February 23 and 25.

Jordan Cox and Sam Billings, two young English wicket-keeper batsmen, will join the Lahore Qalandars side on February 23 and 25, respectively, according to the franchise media manager.

Wicket-keeper batsman Jordan Cox played for the England Lions in an ODI series against Sri Lanka A that completed on Tuesday. On February 23, he will join the Qalanaders squad, while Sam Billings will arrive in Lahore on February 25.

Meanwhile, wicket-keeper batter Shai Hope will leave Pakistan to join the West Indies side after being named the new captain of the West Indies One-Day International team. On Tuesday, the wicket-keeper batsman hit 47 runs in Qalandars’ triumph over Gladiators.

Qalandars are returning with a vengeance.

Following a 67-run loss to Karachi Kings on Sunday, the Qalandars bounced back with a 63-run triumph over Quetta Gladiators on Tuesday at Karachi’s National Bank Cricket Arena (NBCA).

The Qalandars batted excellently, scoring 198 in 20 overs while restricting Quetta to 135.

Qalandars skipper Shaheen Afridi was chosen player of the match after his excellent performance of 3 for 22.

Qalandars will now return to their home pitch for the remainder of their league games. They have won two of their first three games in this competition and presently sit in second place on the points table.

They began their PSL 8 campaign with a win over Multan Sultans at their home ground. They travelled to Karachi for their next game, which they lost by 67 runs to the host team.

On Tuesday, their combined performance earned them a convincing victory over the Gladiators in the third game.

Tomorrow, the Qalandars will go for Lahore.
